Rusty is a 3rd party tool designed to allow you to control your server remotely, it is lightweight and easy to setup. Lets get started;

If you have already setup your command line then please skip to step 5

  1. The first thing you need to do is open up your control panel on our website and go to the Command Line Manager

  2. One the panel, then go to the Custom Command Line Manager

  3. Now you can setup your command line, set all of the settings to your liking and remember to tick the boxes on the far left to save that line.

  4. Once done, save the command line and select it on the far right.

  5. Now you need to download Rusty from the oxide website, found at the link below;

  6. Click Here!

  7. Once downloaded open Rusty

  8. From here navigate to Settings, where you will see a number of text boxes for you to input your information

  9. The information you need to enter is the following;

  10. Config Name: This can be whatever you want it to be, it will be saved on the right hand side

    IP: This is your server IP address, do not add the port on the end (anything after the : )

    Port: This is your server port, the number after the : symbol on your Connection Info

    RCON Port: Your RCON port is your server port +2, for example a port of 27000 would have an RCON port of 27002

    Password: This is the RCON password you entered into the command line manager.

  11. Once you have entered all the information, save your settings and then select the Connect button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  12. If you have done this all correctly then you should see the red dot in the bottom left turn green and say Connected

That's it! You should now be able to run RCON commands, carry out admin tasks and abilities as well as remotely manage players.
