TeamSpeak 3 custom domain setup

Setting up a custom domain can give your teamspeak server a more professional look, this guide will explain how its done;

  1. To start with you will need a website to use as the domain, this guide will help you with this: Claim your free web hosting

  2. Once you have a website log into the panel and go to Zone Editor

  3. From here click the manage button on your domain

  4. Then click the Add Record button, then click on SRV, the details you need to add are below, just add your own IP instead. And use your own domain

  5. So it would be "_ts3._udp.ts3.[Domain].nn.pe." Priority: 0, Weight: 5, Port: [server port], Target: ts3.[Domain].nn.pe

  6. You will need to create a A record with the following details

  7. Where the IP is your TS3 server IP and the zone name is ts3.[Domain].nn.pe.

  8. Once this is done you should be able to connect using ts3.[YourWebaddress] in my case its ts3.exiletest.nn.pe
