Uploading your own Minecraft world (Via NiTROPanel)
- Firstly you need to compress your world folder into a ZIP (make sure it is a zip, and not a rar / 7z / tar / tar.gz) file on your computer that you wish to use on your server.
- Then go to the NiTROPanel file manager for the server you want to upload the world to.
- Next, click the upload a file icon, found to the left of the trash can icon at the top of the page. Proceed to click add files, locate the file on your computer and select it to add it to the queue.
- Once a message has popped up and said the file was successfully uploaded, you should see it in your files (please be aware that large file will take a long time to upload, depending on your upload speed).
- Now you need to click the drop down found on the right of the newly uploaded ZIP file and click unzip, this should place the world folder into your main minecraft directory. Alternatively you can right click on the file and select unzip.
- Find the server.properties file and click edit on the drop down (or right click on it and select edit), find the line that has level-name= and change the value of it to the name of the world you have just uploaded and click save.
- Finally, restart the server and you will have your new world ready to play on!
