My server/control panel has been hacked, what do I do?

Remember, please do not give your password out to anyone, we have sub accounts on all our panels (Minecraft, Source and Billing) so you never have to. If you do create sub accounts, always restrict them as much as possible.

1. If they have changed your control panel password, go straight to here and reset it: http://nitropanel.com/login/forgot - once this is reset, login and change your password again to something other than what you had it as before. Whilst you are in this region of the control panel, go to the sub user section and remove ALL your sub users, this will stop them from logging in.

2. Next you will want to reset your RCON and FTP passwords, go to the console page and click Server Info on the left hand side, then click "Reset RCON Password", after that is done, click "FTP Settings" and do the same with the FTP details.

3. Next go into the op.json file in the file manager and check they have not added themselves as admins (the best option would be to just delete the OP.json file completely and re-add admins). You will also need to check in your server.properties that online mode is still set to true, save that and restart the server.

If that all fails, please contact support immediately and we will disable your account so that we can investigate.
