This is a short list of our most frequently asked questions. For more information about Nitrous Networks, or if you need support, please visit our support center.
What happens after I purchase a server?
As soon as your payment is cleared, you server will automatically be provisioned. This process usually takes around 10-15 seconds, by the end of this time you should have an email in your inbox with the login details to the control panel and another with the server information in.
If you do not receive any information after 20 minutes, please contact support by opening a ticket in your client area, we will response ASAP and get your online.
How fast is setup?
All servers are setup instantly after payment and all the details are emailed to you.
Can I upload my own world file?
Yes, you can upload your existing world files, plugins and mods. Click the following link for more help on world uploads - World Upload Guide.
What payment methods can I use?
We accept PayPal (+ Pre-paid Visas on PayPal only) and all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and American Express) and Bitcoin via Bitpay.
We do not store any credit card information on our servers.
What control panel do I get for my server?
If you are purchasing a Minecraft server, then you will get access to our custom panel called NiTROPanel or if you have a source game, you will get access to TCAdmin.
Do I get a free MySQL Database?
All servers come with a free MySQL Database that you can setup either in your free web hosting package or via NiTROPanel.
Do I get free Web Hosting?
All servers come with free web hosting either on a domain that you own, or a free one "anything".nn.pe. To claim this, please open a ticket in your client area with the sub domain that you desire.
Can I upgrade/downgrade at anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade and downgrade your server at any time, even on monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually.
I ordered my server and I haven't received any details.
If you can't see any emails with your server details in, please firstly check your junk mail, if its not in there, submit a ticket and let us know so we can re-send them again.
Are servers 24/7?
Your hosting will be online 99.99% of the time, if your server ever goes down, be sure to contact us via support tickets so we can sort it.
Do I get FTP access?
You get full FTP access with all our servers.
What happens if I don't pay on time?
Your server will be suspended the day after your server payment is missed, it will then remain suspended for 5 days to give you time to pay for it. After 5 days the server will be terminated.
Do you provide Skype support?
Unfortunately this is not a service we provide, sorry.

What specification servers do you use?
We tend to use E5-2650v4's with 128GB-256GB DDR4 RAM, 2 x 512GB SSD's in RAID 1 and 2 x 1Gbps NIC's for Minecraft. And E3-1270v5's with 64GB DDR4 RAM, 2 x 512GB SSD's in RAID 1 and 2 x 1Gbps NIC's for all other games.
Recently we started introducing new 9900K servers in some of our EU locations, including London & Falkenstein to offer the best possible performance!
I only want my server for one month, how do I do that?
All you need to do is order any of our packages on a monthly plan, then submit a cancellation request making sure that "Immediate" is unchecked, and "End Of Billing Period" is selected.
I have a modpack that you don't have on your list, can I use it?
We are always adding modpacks, so if you have a modpack that we don't have, pop a link with the files over to us and we can add it to our 1-click installer. However sometimes modpacks may not work if they don't have the correct server files.
What plan do I need for most modpacks?
We suggest using 3GB+ Memory (Gold Tier) for any modpack. This can be upgraded or downgraded at anytime.
Can I use Bungee Cord?
You can put Bungee Cord on any of our servers, however we can only provide support/set it up if you have 3+ servers with us.
